Airfree benefits

The Bare® Air-free benefits are focused on providing the most natural feeding habits when babies are not breastfeeding. Designed after the mother’s breast, Bare® Air-free feeds true air-free milk, while in an upright feeding position and lets the baby control the flow and pace. These benefits are clinically proven to reduce common feeding issues like severe gas, spit-up, daytime fuss, midnight colic, GER, GERS & diagnosed GERD. Bare® Air-free offers four main features that lead to invaluable benefits.

True Air-free

true airfree

The Air-plug® allows you to expel all air out before each feeding, like a syringe. When your baby creates suction, the Air-plug® moves automatically to dispense air-free milk.

  • Helps prevent gas build-up
  • Helps prevent daytime fuss and midnight colic
  • Promotes suction-based feeding
  • Promotes vertical-upright feeding position

Upright feeding

Bare® Air-free dispenses milk while in right side up position. It does not need gravity to feed. The Air-plug® moves automatically with baby suction.

  • Helps prevent spit-ups
  • Calm acid reflux/GER symptoms
  • Help prevent ear infections
  • Encourage proper feeding posture
  • Promote self-feeding
  • Improve transition to cups

The vertical-upright feeding position and air-free milk from Bare® Air-free have demonstrated to lower acid reflux symptoms in up to 75% of babies with GERD. Statistics show that 2 out of 3 babies suffer from acid reflux symptoms. Don’t let your baby suffer from painful symptoms.

Flow and pace control

Benefit Flow control

Babies control the flow and pace of feeding with suction, like breastfeeding. The group of different sized-orifices on the nipple’s tip work in synergy with the moving air-plug® to dispense different flow rates controlled by the baby’s sucking strength.

  • Discourages over-feeding behaviors
  • Adapts to baby’s feeding pattern
  • Prevents free-feeding
  • Promotes suction-based feeding

Perfe-latch® & Easy-latch® nipples

Our nipples are designed with feeding patterns in mind. A breastfed baby latches completely different than a bottle-fed baby. Therefore, the Perfe-latch® nipple is for exclusively breastfed babies, while the Easy-latch® nipple makes an easy transition from traditional bottle feeding. Both nipples offer flow-control technology.

Perfe-latch® nipple Promotes breastfeeding
The short tip allows a deep, wide latch on the areola, while the tip extends upon suction.

Easy-latch® nipple is for bottle-fed babies.
